Lakshminivasa Rao Nerusu - Sought in slayings of wife, 2 kids

Did Lakshminivasa Rao Nerusu take the lives of his own wife and children?

Is he guilty and on the run or is he innocent, sacred and trying to clear his name?

October 31, 2008... According to Freep.com "Police are looking for the husband of a woman found slain with her two children in their Novi home yesterday...

Novi Police Chief David Molloy said detectives want to interview Lakshminivasa Rao Nerusu, 42, the husband of Jayalakshmi and father of Tejasvi and Siva Kumar. His whereabouts, Molloy said, are unknown...

While a motive for the crime is unknown, Molloy said officials believe the killer or killers knew the family because there was no sign of forced entry and the doors to the apartment were locked. No one in the neighborhood, Molloy said, heard any fighting or struggle although Jayalakshmi Nerusu — a stay-at-home mother — had defensive wounds.

I'd love to hear your opinion on this tragic story...

Lakshminivasa Rao Nerusu - Will He Get What He Deserves?

Lakshminivasa Rao Nerusu - Will He Get What He Deserves?

What does he deserve? Please post your comments below... be honest but please be respectful to other viewers.

Some will say "the chair" isn't good enough and he should endure significantly more pain then he has caused... basically "2 eyes for an eye".

On the other side of the fence you may hear others saying... What has this man been subjected to in order for him to get to this point of mental anguish? Does he not deserve a chance for rehabilitation? Does he not deserve a chance to "try" and make it right?

If you don't have a clue what I'm talking about read the article from "The Times" on October 31, 2008.

According to "The Times" of India "A Telugu software programmer, who lost his job recently, reportedly killed three members of his family in Detroit on Tuesday.

The bodies of Jayalakshmi Nerusu (37), her 14-year-old daughter Tejasvi and 12-year-old son Siva were found on the first floor of their residence at Wharton Court in Novi area, 20 km from Detroit.

Investigators said the father lost his job recently and the family car was repossessed about a month ago. The police went to the house after a relative complained that he had not heard from the family for several days. Friends and relatives of the victims were interrogated by the police, but they could not draw any conclusions on the motive behind the murders.

Jayalakshmi was a housewife, while Tejasvi and Siva were school students. Both the children were good at studies, said school officials. Sources said the Nerusu family had shifted to Novi area from Illinois last August. Unconfirmed reports said Rao had left for India on October 14."
